Bench Cast Router Table - R15 Lift and Motor with Speed Control NVR Switch
This bench cast router table with R15 lift and motor is compact in size without compromising on performance, delivering the same premium build quality and performance as its larger counterpart. Supplied with a powerful 2400W variable speed router motor featuring an intelligent torque control system, ensuring that the rotational speed remains constant under load. The variable speed control NVR switch provides full, external control of the router motor and features both a speed control knob for fine speed adjustment and a built-in NVR switch, providing a safe, convenient way to control power to the motor. The precision engineered R15 router lift will dial in the router bit height from above the table, to a resolution of 0.025mm.
Router Table Stand
The legs and braces are engineered from 38mm wide x 2mm thick box-section steel for guaranteed strength and rigidity. The stand has been specifically designed to ensure that the legs and braces fit perfectly square to each other, via a series of pre-welded locking nuts and stainless-steel fixings. The feet have a large 40mm diameter footprint for optimum stability and have fine height adjustment for levelling on uneven workshop floors. Each foot is fitted with a heavy-duty rubber pad to offer excellent vibration dampening.
Cast Router Table Top
The 595mmm wide by 395mm deep substantial cast iron router table top has been designed to provide the most stable, exacting routing experience possible. Its solid, single piece design provides the mass to absorb and eliminate vibration whilst routing, ensuring the cleanest possible cuts and superior finish quality. Constructed from a solid piece of cast iron, each table top is left to settle and stabilise before undergoing a precision surface grinding process for flatness. Once machined, the top receives a final polish, leaving the smoothest possible friction-free work surface to pass material across. The underside of the table top has been carefully engineered with a network of ribbing and support points, designed to maximise strength and stress resistance. Machined into the surface is a double T track, including a standard 19mm track for use with mitre gauges and feather boards, and a 6.3mm T slot for use with stops and home-made jigs.
Router Table Fence
This router table fence is precision CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminium with a black anodized finish. On the top face of the fence is a metric scale and an 8.3mm T track for use with flip stops, and on the front face there is another 8.3mm T track for mounting Rutlands® feather boards, roller guides and the height adjustable router bit guard. The two sub-fences are made from a solid composite with a low friction, phenolic laminate surface to ensure smooth movement of the workpiece. The fences can be adjusted, tool free, to accommodate any router bit up to 114mm in diameter and the outfeed sub-fence can be off-set to allow for edge planing. The two fence support brackets are mounted to each side of router table top, allowing the fence to be moved back and forth. An adjustable metric scale on the fence brackets allows you to precisely align, zero and set the position of the fence to the router bit.
Router Lift - R15
Built with premium quality materials to an exacting standard, the lift has been meticulously engineered to ensure precise, ultra smooth raising and lowering of the router bit. The height adjustment is controlled from above the table by inserting and rotating the removable crank handle, making adjustment fast, simple and extremely precise. The lift positions the router collet above the table surface when fully raised to allow for easy access and quick bit changes. The main drive spindle is precision CNC machined and features a fine pitch thread that allows you to tune-in the height of the router bit to a resolution of 0.025mm. Once the router bit is set to the cutting height, a special spindle-locking mechanism prevents the height setting from changing due to vibration.
Router Motor with Variable Speed Control NVR Switch
The powerful, 2400W variable speed router motor features an intelligent torque control system, ensuring that the rotational speed remains constant and preventing the motor from slowing under load, no matter what diameter of router bit you are using or how hard the wood, resulting in a superior workpiece finish. The integrated air cool system delivers a constant flow of fresh air, preventing the motor from overheating. The variable speed control NVR switch provides full, external control of the router motor and features both a speed control knob for fine speed adjustment between 10,000 to 21,000rpm, and a built-in NVR switch, providing a safe, convenient way to control power to the motor. For added piece of mind, in the event of a power cut the power will remain off and the router motor will not restart until you press the green 'On' button once again. With soft start technology, the router motor gradually increases the speed from zero to the desired level for a safer, more enjoyable routing experience. ©
