Brushless Random and Palm Orbital Sanders with 100 Net Abrasive Sheets and Storage Case
The Rutlands® brushless random and palm orbital sander kit delivers professional quality finishes and maximum operator comfort, with low vibration values (3.07 m/s²) and low noise (80 dB LpA). Included is a pack of 150mm ceramic net abrasives and 81 x 133mm aluminium oxide net abrasives, from 80 to 320 grit, along with a tough, impact resistant tool storage case.
Ergonomically designed, the lightweight, low profile bodies allow the sanders to be used for long periods without fatigue, whether operated flat, vertically or overhead. Supplied with both 150mm and 125mm backing pads, the random orbital sander runs in a 5.0mm orbit, providing a high material removal rate whilst yielding consistent surface finishes in a range of applications. The palm orbital sander is supplied with an 81mm x 133mm backing pad and runs in a 3.0mm orbit, for fine sanding and finishing applications, reaching into tight corners and hard-to-reach areas such as windows, doors and frames.
The 350W high performance brushless motors maintain constant speed, even under heavy load, ensuring a consistent material removal rate and finish quality throughout. The soft start motors with electronic brake gradually and safely build up speed and stop instantly. The motors operate between a 4,000 to 10,000rpm range, with the paddle levers allowing careful control of the speed between 4,000rpm and the current max rpm, set using the + and - buttons and LED indicators.
The net abrasives maximise dust extraction, providing dust-free sanding when used with a connected dust extractor. Where safety and efficiency are paramount, these net abrasives will reduce exposure to the most dangerous, harmful sanding dust or toxic paint residues. The abrasives are suitable for use on a range of materials from hardwoods, softwoods and exotic woods to primers, paints and lacquers, composites and non-ferrous metals. The durable aluminium oxide abrasive coating dulls slowly, delivering a high cut rate, excellent hardness and low heat retention. Supplied as packs of 50 (150mm & 81mm x 133mm) containing 80, 120, 180, 240 and 320 grits. ©
