The Rutlands® dual action random orbital polisher with 15mm orbit provides fast, effective and stable operation, delivering consistent, professional quality finishes. The industry standard ‘sweet spot’ of a 15mm long-throw orbit provides a wider, more effective cutting area, significantly reducing polishing time. Balancing power with control, the polisher features a precision CNC-machined steel counterbalance in the head, reducing vibration for smooth, effortless operation. Designed for both large panel coverage and more complex curves, the Rutlands® polisher delivers a user-friendly experience for beginners, enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Professional, Showroom-Quality Finishes
The powerful 1,000W motor operates across a 6-gear variable speed range (2,000 - 5,200 OPM), allowing careful control of the material removal rate to prioritise safety and finish quality. The current RPM is clearly displayed on the LCD screen, allowing you to finely match the speed to the application, and the switch can be locked on for extended use. The ‘dual action’ or random orbital motion spins the pad in an elliptical orbit, reducing heat build-up for more forgiving operation than rotary polishers, significantly reducing the risk of holograms or burning through paintwork. The supplied 125mm and 150mm vented backing pads are carefully designed to transfer heat away from the pad through their vertical and horizontal cooling ports.

Developed for demanding polishing operations across many industries, the Rutlands® polisher will remove scratches, swirls and surface defects to achieve a flawless glossy lustre on automotive or marine clearcoats, lacquers and topcoats. Suitable for wider renovation tasks, the polisher also will leave a shiny high gloss finish on epoxy resin, acrylic, plexiglass, painted wooden surfaces or solid surface materials - worktops, walls, and commercial fixtures.
Comfortable, Strain-Free Operation
The ergonomically designed body sits comfortably in the hand and features non-slip soft touch overmoulding on the working surfaces. An ultra-bright LED light ring around the head illuminates the work surface, revealing any unevenness or imperfections whilst enhancing visibility in dark conditions. A flat top allows the polisher rest hands-free on its back, for quick and easy pad changes. The supplied side handle and top ‘D-loop’ handle provide control when working vertically or overhead. The detachable 5m cable reduces the risk of wear and tear and allows easy storage within tool cases. ©
