HVLP Paint Sprayer
The Rutlands® HVLP (high volume, low pressure) paint sprayer delivers smooth, even coverage in a fraction of the time compared to traditional brush and roller application. Whether tackling indoor or outdoor projects, the sprayer allows for all popular coatings to be sprayed, including stains, lacquers, varnishes, polyurethane and primers, as well as latex, acrylic and water or oil-based paints, such as emulsion.
A high volume of fluid is sprayed at a low pressure, providing up to 90% less overspray compared to a conventional spray system. The low pressure allows you to lay the paint on, rather than blasting it on, resulting in a softer, easier application of the spray with far more of the finish ending up on the desired surface. As less fluid is wasted, material costs are reduced and there is less impact on your workshop, garage or garden surroundings.
Operating at a flow rate of 1000ml per minute, the sprayer delivers high-volume painting, ideal for projects such as fences, furniture, and walls. The 2.5mm nozzle can be adjusted to provide 3 spray patterns - vertical, horizontal and circular, and the spray width lever allows careful adjustment of the resulting fan width. A trigged-mounted flow control knob regulates the flow of paint, for matching to the finish type to achieve perfect atomisation.
To check your coating is suitable prior to spraying, simply immerse the supplied viscosity cup into your chosen finish and time in seconds how long it takes for the material to stop flowing. This ‘runout time’ (DIN-s) can be checked against the supplied thinning table and the finish manufacturer’s guidance. Supplied with a viscosity measuring cup, cleaning needle and brush, 1200ml paint container and a 2.5mm nozzle. ©
