Mobile Base - 400kg

Mobile Base - 400kg

This mobile base features robust, heavy gauge all-steel construction, and will mobilise otherwise stationary workshop equipment up to 400kg in weight. Adjustable in length and width, the base will expand from a minimum rectangle size of 460mm x 620mm up to 720mm x 850mm at full extension, providing an ample footprint for planer thicknessers, bandsaws, table saws and more.

The base features two fixed wheels at the rear and two swivel castors at the front. The 75mm wheels are constructed from a durable no-mar polyurethane, ensuring no marking or slipping on the workshop floor. To lock the base in place, press down on the two foot operated levers to deploy the adjustable screw-down feet, lifting the front pair of castors off the floor. Adjusting the position of the feet allows for fine levelling of the base and the mounted machine above. To mobilise again, simply lift the levers and roll the base into position.

Four hardened steel triangular plates sit in each corner to support and absorb the weight of the machine, and each corner assembly features a tough, epoxy powder coated finish to withstand the rigors of workshop use. Corner holes allow for the direct mounting of workstands or wooden sub-bases. ©
