Getting the perfect finish on a curve or contour isn't always easy. Use a flat bed sander and you won't get a smooth shape. Finish by hand and it can often be long, laborious work. This bobbin sander is designed to work with the curve or contour giving a flawless finish regardless of radii. This bobbin sander comes with five different diameters of 115mm tall bobbin, and combined with the main drive spindle, offers six different sanding diameters of 13mm, 19mm, 26mm, 38mm, 51mm and 76mm. This wide range of diameters allows the sander to work on anything from a tight curve through to a gentle contour.

The bobbin sander is supplied with six corresponding table inserts to eliminate gaps in the table, ensuring that the work piece is fully supported close to the edge of the bobbin. Measuring 320mm x 300mm, the cast aluminium table offers ample workpiece support and features an anti-friction coating to ensure fast and smooth movement of the workpiece.

The high torque 450W brushless motor ensures consistent speed, even when working under load. This motor drives the bobbins at 2,000rpm with 58 oscillations per minute, leaving a super-fine, scorch-free finish. The 38mm diameter dust port ensures efficient waste removal at the source and the cleanest possible finish when connected to a dust extractor.

Measuring 330mm from base to table top, this bobbin sander is perfectly sized for bench mounting. The base is designed with various slots to store the supplied accessories, so the correct bobbin and table insert are always at hand.
