Router Square and Rectangle Jig - 700mm x 500mm
This router square and rectangle jig is used in combination with a router and guide bush to route openings, recesses, grooves, mortices or even moulding detail in the faces of panel material. The jig consists of two lengths of 700mm and two lengths of 500mm sturdy aluminium extrusion, and can be adjusted to any size, up to a maximum working area of 650mm x 450mm.
Requiring minimal assembly, the supplied allen key loosens the locking bolts allowing the jig to slide smoothly within its tracks. Each working face features a laser-etched graduated metric scale running in both directions, allowing the jig to be configured to the required size in seconds. Each track measures 50mm wide, providing ample space for secure clamping to the workpiece. T track channels measuring 11.8mm x 4.5mm (bottom) and 13mm x 5.5mm (side) allow the use of screw or lever clamps without obstructing the router.
The jig features a hard wearing, abrasion resistant anodised finish and provides a low-friction surface for smooth, controlled router travel. When not required, the jig quickly disassembles to take up minimal storage space. ©
