Router Table Sliding Carriage
This router table sliding carriage delivers the highest level of accuracy when coping and cross-cutting end grain, producing precise, perfect fitting joints that can be repeated time and time again. The carriage mounts within T track atop an existing fence, allowing you to re-adjust the position on your fence, whilst ensuring the sliding carriage always remains in line and 100% parallel. Precision machined from hardened aluminium extrusion with stainless steel hardware, the carriage is light enough to easily manoeuvre, whilst offering incredible strength and rigidity.
The mitre gauge sits on a linear bearing guide rail, shielded from dust ingress, providing smooth, precise travel with zero play. The rail features a large travel distance of 575mm, giving you the freedom to make long passes on wider stock. Two adjustable limit stops, either end of the rail, allow the length of cut to be controlled for precise, repeatable results. The mitre gauge moves through a 45° angle range with clear graduations at every 1° increment. Positive detents at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° & 45° guide the gauge into position, to both reduce setup time and ensure repeatable accuracy. With the angle selected, the gauge is locked securely in place using the large, knurled handle.
Attached to the mitre gauge is a 63mm high, 305mm long extruded aluminium sub-fence with a series of 6.35mm T tracks for use with hold downs and stops. The position of the sub-fence can be adjusted closer or further away from the main fence, providing clearance for larger diameter router bits. When not required, the carriage quickly and easily dismounts, out of the way of the table, giving you back complete access to your work surface. Compatible with all Rutlands® floor-standing and bench router tables (phenolic laminate, solid phenolic and cast iron), and any other router table fences at least 700mm in length, featuring a top mounted T track. ©
