This tapered cutting jig is designed for use on a table saw and will allow you to accurately cut gentle tapers up to 15º. The jig is used against a table saw fence to allow you to cut workpieces at a desired angle, angles which were previously not safely possible when only using the fence or trying to cut freehand. The jig is held against the rip fence and opened and securely locked at the desired angle. The timber is then pushed up against the end stop on the jig, and both the jig and workpiece are moved along the rip fence to create the required taper on the workpiece.

The jig is constructed from sturdy aluminium extrusion for strength and durability, the material also slides easily against a fence and tabletop for smooth operation. The jig can be used either left or right-handed and has an overall length of 610mm and is 32mm square. ©
