This aluminium wheel marking gauge ensures highly accurate transfer of measurements and marking of your workpiece. The circular head is CNC machined from aircraft grade aluminium and sits securely against the workpiece to aid stability. An extremely sharp hardened steel cutting wheel has a single sided bevel which pulls the face of the gauge against the stock to ensure there is no drifting of the wheel. The cutting wheel scribes and cuts the wood fibres cleanly, rather than tearing, resulting in a highly accurate line, even on cross grain in both soft and hardwoods. When not in use the cutting wheel retracts into the face of the gauge for protection.

A recessed window is cut into the head to allow you to clearly see the measurement you require; this is also highlighted by a white arrow for complete visibility. A locking lever gives a secure hold for repeated markings and the 8mm diameter coated stainless-steel rod is cleanly etched in one millimetre increments up to 120mm, enabling precise marking out. ©
