This brushless cordless 40V plunge saw with M class dust extractor and 1.4m guide rail delivers clean, splinter-free rip cutting of composite sheet materials and laminates. With certified M class filtration, the extractor captures 99.9% of dust for proven protection against harmful dust with an occupational exposure limit (OEL) greater than 0.1 mg/m³. Remote power and suction control allows the extractor to be activated from a distance, whilst auto filter cleaning pulsates the extractor's HEPA filter every 20 seconds, shifting accumulated dust to prolong filter life and maintain maximum suction power.

The Rutlands® cordless 40V plunge saw comes with a 1.4m guide rail, 2 x 20V 4.0Ah batteries and dual port charger. It features a high performance, brushless motor that maintains consistent power and torque under load. A three position blade mode dial allows quick switching between scoring cuts, free plunging and blade change modes. The scoring cut setting locks the depth of cut to 2.5mm, providing a shallow, preliminary pass on melamine or veneer faced boards to minimise chipping and tear-out. Free plunge mode is selected for normal operation, whilst the blade change mode locks the blade height in position to perform quick and easy blade changes using the onboard hex key.
A variable speed range of 2,000 to 5,500rpm, allows you to finely control the speed to suit the blade, application and material, with the current speed setting illuminated on the 5 level LED display. A 2-position depth stop shows the current depth of cut both with and without a guide rail. The saw has a bevel cutting range of -1° to 47°, providing the capacity to under/overcut. An anti-tip lock within the baseplate locks the saw onto the guide rail, preventing the saw from lifting and tipping over when making bevel cuts. The supplied ultra-thin, 1.6mm kerf blade is specially designed to remove less material whilst cutting, reducing power drain and allowing you to work faster, and for longer.

This M class dust extractor combines consistently high suction power, auto filter cleaning and auto start functionality, ensuring a safer, dust-free work environment. Health and safety compliant for on-site use, an audible and visual alarm will advise you when the suction rate has dropped to an unsafe level. A variable air-flow control knob adjusts the suction to suit all surfaces, up to a maximum air flow rate of 216 m³/hr.
With a sleek, ergonomic design, the extractor is easily manoeuvrable and offers ample on-board storage for hoses and attachments. A generous 40 litre drum capacity allows you to work for longer, reducing downtime emptying the machine. The soft grip trolley handle folds down when not in use, and the extractor can be locked in place using the brake-operated non-marring castors. A grounding chain beneath the unit prevents the accumulation of static charge inside the dust collector and hoses. Includes filter bag, HEPA filter, flexible vacuum hose, flexible power tool hose and telescopic tube with floor brush, round brush and small crevice attachments. Suitable for wet or dry extraction.
The extractor should not be operated for more than 20 minutes continuously. After 20 minutes of continuous operation, turn off the unit and allow a 15 minute resting period before next use. Clean the body, filter and dust bag after use. ©
